g/sqm stands for grams per square meter, referring to the measurement of the metric weight of a fabric. A higher grammage/square meter represents a higher density.

Most orders are processed and shipped within 5 – 7 business days, but it can take up to 5 weeks for some products. Please note that during the holiday season, delivery takes longer than usual. Check the status of the individual product and the processing time on the product page. Once the order is ready, it will be shipped immediately to its destination. Absolutely. If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase. or you received the wrong product, we will take it back or exchange it for another item. We do not exchange or accept returns for final sale and last chance items, gift cards, cut-to-length linen fabrics, and custom orders. Returns and exchanges can be made within 14 days of delivery. Once the item is received by our team, we will send you confirmation to the email address provided. We will issue a refund for the original payment method within 30 days.

All our products are made in a studio workshop, managed by our family, in Brasov, Romania. Our workshop benefits from high-quality equipment and amenities to reduce the carbon footprint as much as possible.

Stonewashed is a modern and safe technology to soften linen material that is by itself quite hard, natural. By repeated washes on the stone, the linen becomes softer.

Linen is a natural fiber and, as such, linen can have natural characteristics, including thicker threads in places (in the process of producing the thread, often the linen threads are knotted). The color of natural linen depends largely on its growing conditions, climate and geographical position. Colors may vary slightly between different seasons and batches of dyeing. If you need a suitable set, we recommend ordering everything in one purchase.

The short answer is yes, our bed linen and curtains linen are 100% eco-friendly! It is a natural fiber derived from the flax plant, which does not need pesticides to grow and requires extremely little water compared to cotton. Every part of the flax plant is used to produce various products, from flaxseed fabrics to flaxseed oil. In addition, the linen can be recycled and is naturally biodegradable, which places it in first place in the ecological top.

All Genuin products are made of OEKO-TEX certified linen fabrics. The certification ensures the human-ecological safety of textile products at all stages of production (raw materials and fibers, yarns, fabrics, finished products). Products that are OEKO-TEX certified do not contain allergenic dyes, pesticides, heavy metals and other harmful substances. The certification is voluntary and must be updated annually.

We offer custom sizes for bed linen, tablecloths, beds, duvets, curtains and linen curtains. To request a custom size, please email us at hello@genuin.shop and we will calculate your price, production and delivery times.

Yes! We have samples of home textiles available for our linen and curtains collections. Linen samples will include our latest colors.

How should I wash my bed linen? Taking care of your linen is simple: you can wash your linen by hand or in the washing machine at low temperatures. The only color that can be washed at temperatures of 40 degrees is Gentle White. The linen can be dried in the dryer at lower drying temperatures and this process is recommended for relaxation of the linen thread after the accumulation of moisture during washing. Similarly, the iron can be used to relax the strands. We do not recommend using bleach or detergent with optical brighteners, as they tend to weaken the fibers, and chemical particles remain impregnated in the linen fabric. Yes, linen is thicker and about 30% stronger than cotton. The reason is that the flax plant, from which flax originates, produces much longer fibers than the cotton plant. The length of the fiber directly contributes to the strength of the yarn, which influences the strength and durability of the fabric.
