According to studies, heat and exposure to temperatures higher than 22 degrees have a negative impact on REM (deep sleep), while lower temperatures (17-22) do not, because the heart rate does not trigger a thermoregulatory response of the body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Linen helps the baby’s body to maintain a constant temperature and absorb sweat, which is taken up by the fabric and released into the air, slightly increasing humidity. The thermoregulatory cycle is sustained and sleep becomes more peaceful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There are studies done on wool, cotton and polyester, and natural fibres come out as the winner. Especially linen, with thermoregulating capacity \u2013 constant temperature in the crib.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
