That&#8217;s why below are the steps we want to take to have a positive impact on the world of textiles. Because every small decision can have a big impact.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-sursa-materialelor\"><strong>Source of materials<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We choose our flax only from Europe, both for agriculture and processing. Our flax comes from processing factories with high quality standards, such as Spain, Italy, Lithuania and France, so that we can ensure that: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>  it was dyed correctly<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>  the dyes were not spilled into rivers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>  the people who work there were treated and paid well<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>  the products do not contain traces of toxic substances<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>And all this is ensured through the material certifications that you can read about below. If you choose us, you can be sure that the flax is not from China, Pakistan, India or Turkey.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, we have chosen our suppliers and place orders in such a way as to minimize our carbon footprint, through the routes and mode of transport chosen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n    <div class=\"\">\r\n        <div class=\"grid grid-cols-1 md:grid-cols-2 gap-[10px]\">\r\n                                                <\/div>\r\n    <\/div>\r\n\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-stocurile-\u0219i-cultura-convenien\u021bei\"><strong>Stocks and the culture of convenience<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Although we live in a fast world, we prefer to break this rhythm of convenience and not keep stocks of products. This encourages slower consumption, an extension of patience and an increase in pleasure. Our products are delivered in approximately 7 working days (does not apply to curtains, carpets or embroidered pillows) and are completely customized.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We work exactly as you want and we don&#8217;t want to be another retailer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-ambalajele\"><strong>Packaging<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Our products are packaged in paper or cotton with hemp, tied with cotton tape and the labels used are made of recycled paper. They are elegant, minimalist and can be given as gifts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-livrarile-inului\">The <strong>deliveries<\/strong> of flax<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To minimize our carbon footprint, we make deliveries 3 times a week, not every day, thus streamlining the transport route. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-reciclarile\"><strong>Recycling<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We recycle the remnants of our materials and use them in upcycled products. Furthermore, we are launching recycling programs that come with benefits for the customer, so keep an eye on the newsletter. If you want to read more about our recycling equipment, read <a href=\"https:\/\/genuinshop.eu\/innovation-norway-project-2\/\">here<\/a>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The textiles collected through the <strong>\u201cRabla pentru A\u0219ternuturi\u201d<\/strong> campaign reach <strong>FEPRA<\/strong>, where they go through a mechanical recycling process: the fibers are separated and regenerated, giving life to new products under the <strong>Genuin<\/strong> brand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But the story does not end there. FEPRA covers the collection and sorting of textiles through its 9 collection points around Bucharest \u2014 Mogo\u0219oaia, Corbeanca, Chitila, as well as the Oregon Park office building in Bucharest \u2014 building a functional circuit for textile collection, sorting, reuse and recycling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the first year of collection, the project gathered approximately <strong>25 tons of textiles<\/strong>. Following the sorting process, we found that: <strong>40% of the textiles are directly reusable, 25% require repair \/ upcycling, and 15% are suitable for downcycling.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond the numbers, the project has generated a real shift in mindset. Four schools in Buftea became spaces for practical learning about the impact of textile waste and the importance of separate collection, while at academic level, students from <strong>UNArte \u2014 Textile Arts Department<\/strong> transformed recovered materials into artistic objects.
